If you are not sure where you saved a particular file, you can quickly find it through filters on certain metadata.
Navigate to the home page and click on the filter icon in the upper left corner. In the filter menu, select the metadata column “Filename”, for example. Then enter the name (or part of it) of the file and click on the search button to activate the filter.
If the overview still contains too many results, you can add additional filters on other metadata to further refine your search.
Were you still unable to find the desired file? Then load the document again. On the homepage, click the “Upload” button and select the desired file. In the drop zone, you can always recognize on the left whether the document already exists. If it already exists, you have the choice to overwrite the existing version or upload it as new. Also all metadata that was entered for the existing version will be displayed. You can use this metadata to search again.
Still can't find it? Possibly something went wrong while uploading or you no longer have access to the file. Possibly a colleague has added extra metadata to the file in the meantime, for which you do not have rights and as a result of which the document is now protected for you.
